St. Louis scored 3 huge runs in the top of the10th off of Abad and Doolittle to jump out to a 2-0 series lead. Taking the opening two games on the road in a 7 game series gives a team a 70% chance of taking the series. Jhonny Peralta hit his second homer in 2 days and scored 2 runs to lead a balanced Cardinal attack. Trevor Rosenthal got the win even though he was shaky closing out the bottom of the 10th (he allowe a run). Starters Miller and Lester were both done after 5 and both gave up 3 runs.
